Congratulations to Lorraine McNulty who won the solo singing section of Scór Mhuigheo on Friday evening in Breaffy. Lorraine gave a beautiful performance of 'The Home I left Behind'. She is pictured with Scór Mhuigheo Chairman James Gibbons. Lorraine now goes forward to represent Mayo in the Connacht Final which will be held in St Bridget's Hall, Tubbercurry on Saturday March 25th at 5pm.  Well done to the Ceol uirlise group comprising Cian McNamara, Tony Patten and Michael Lavelle who were runners up on the night. Also well done to Denis Randle, Seán McGinty, Ann Forry and Gráinne Seoighthe who made up the team for the Tráth na gCeisteanna Boird, which followed directly after the rest of the competition. |
