Our cyclists are just about to set off after a meal break in Ballaghaderren (2.45pm) and hope to be in Castlebar at 4.45pm/5pm approximately. The wind is aiding our cyclists and they are ahead of schedule presently. This may result in an earlier time of arrival.

Our cyclists are passing through Strokestown, Roscommon (12.30pm) and now face into a difficult section of the cycle. The next stop will be a meal break in Durkans of Ballaghaderreen and it is hoped they will arrive into Davitt Park at approximately 10pm. Keep posted for regular updates.

Our cyclists have reached their second stop of the day at Feericks Hotel, Rathowen, Westmeath (10.35am) and the next stop will be Longford. They have covered 100km over the last 4 hours, only over 200km more to go!!!!

Welcome to our first update, all 10 cyclists and support team set off this morning at 6.10am from Croke Park and safely arrived at their first destination Mother Hubbards, Moyvalley (8.30am) for a meal break.  The weather has chosen to be kind to us after last nights heavy rain and the sun is out and fingers crossed it will remain so.

Good luck to all the cyclists and support team who start the Croke Park to Davitt Park Cycle from Dublin at 6am tomorrow morning from outside Croke Park. As this year's event takes place over one day we will endeavour to keep you up to speed on the cyclists progress and estimated time of arrival home.
The funds raised from this cycle will go towards local services in the area for service users of Western Care from the Achill, Ballycroy, Mulranny and Newport area.
