Last year Achill GAA launched this strategic 5 year club plan which outlines the areas of focus for the club over the coming years. This plan was developed through close collaboration with the community and considered the views and input of all supporters of the club. Over the past 12 months significant progress has been made in executing on the actions and goals set out in the club plan. The unprecedented media coverage for our Junior teams and the significant increase in both participation and support for all of our Boys/Men’s and Girls/Ladies teams is testament to the work going on behind the scenes to improve your club in every way possible As well as significant progress in areas such as Development Planning, Games & Coaching and PR; the Achill GAA online club shop has been an overwhelming success and we are delighted to be close to announcing a deal that will see a local retailer carrying all club Gear for sale and distribution going forward. Later in the Autumn when the on-field action comes to a close we will be hosting an open evening to bring you the community up-to speed on all activities within the club and also to launch some exciting new initiatives and developments that are in the pipe line. As always Achill GAA, Achill Ladies GAA and Achill Bórd Ná Nóg welcomes input from the community and is always looking for more active members to get involved.
